ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON MUSIC MINISTRY
Liturgical Musician's Meditation
I am first a disciple and only then am I a minister. As I offer praise to God today, I remember all that He has blessed me with and I will offer it back in worship and adoration of Him alone.
Joined to Christ through the sacraments of initiation, I belong to the assembly of the baptized faithful; I am a worshiper above all else.
Like other baptized members of the assembly, I need to hear the Gospel, experience conversion, profess faith in Christ, and so proclaim the praise of God.
I serve the Church at prayer. I am a minister who shares the faith, serves the community, and expresses the love of God and neighbor through music. I worship CHRIST THE King - body, blood, soul and divinity, and remember to exemplify the love of God in word and deed.
As I lead this faith filled community in sung prayer today, I will careful aim my praise to God and direct all glory to Him alone.
Soli Deo Gloria
